As we head into August, traditionally it’s holiday time for many of you and I trust you will be able to use the time to rest, reset, and enjoy the sunshine, even spending some time out in the open air. It’s also a season when we take a break from a lot of the usual mid-week church activities, so why not invite friends over for a meal and share fellowship. It’s a great time to deepen existing friendships and a great opportunity to cement new ones.

I mentioned previously that Liz and I will be leading the team taking our youth to Limitless Festival this year from the 5th to the 10th August. We are looking forward to camping up on the Staffordshire Showground with them and with thousands of other youth as we gather to encounter God. The worship and the teaching will be aimed at them, playing their vibes and talking their lingo. Please will you commit to praying for us, the team and the youth in the buildup to the festival, during it, and beyond.

•          Pray that this would be the season of breakthrough for our precious youth. ‍

•          Pray for energy and strength for the team. ‍

•          Pray for protection for us all, both on our journeys there and back and throughout the whole camping experience.

We are looking forward to Geoff Feasey coming to minister to us on Sun 9th Aug. That’s the final Sunday of Limitless Festival and I’ll be popping down to lead worship for you all then returning for the fabulous festival finale.

Once August is over, in order to help us refocus our spirits and our minds on what is to come, we will be having another half night of prayer on Thursday 3rd Sept – this time it will be open to all. We will be praying from 7pm to 11pm. Put that date in your diaries and plan to join us as we rise together to pray and seek God for our next season.
